Karl Claridge has signed to compete for the team in the MX2 class. Claridge at age 23, is a relatively unknown rider from the west of Victoria who has spent the last few seasons competing at regional, state and select MXN races.
“I’ve been working hard for a few years now to feel like I’m ready for a full season in the MXN series. Investing into my training last season I worked closely with Joe from MAD and as the season ended I knew there was something missing in my racing program. I’m not a fussy rider, but for the last few seasons I’ve literally ran stock bikes and made whatever I can make work in regards to my budget racing. After reaching out to Joe to discuss options for putting a full MXN series together in 2017, he informed me of the team plans and it sounded exactly what I was looking for in terms of support to have good bikes and a solid program. The ball got rolling from there pretty quickly and I’m very excited to have the opportunity to compete in my first full MXN season and be working with the team to achieve my goals we have set coming into the season.”
